Terpsichore: In Greek mythology, Terpsichore (/tərpˈsɪkəriː/; Greek: Τερψιχόρη, "delight in dancing") is one of the nine Muses and goddess of dance and chorus. She lends her name to the word "terpsichorean", which means "of or relating to dance".
Our Mission
Our mission is to present professional, contemporary dance works by Aimee McDonald, our collective members, and guest artists. We are dedicated to fostering sustainable, professional dance careers for artists, as well as expanding the dance audience. Our goal is to cultivate a thriving and esteemed contemporary dance scene in the Ann Arbor area. We firmly believe that expressing emotion and the human experience through dance contributes to building a healthier and more empathetic community.
