Terpsichore Collective at 22 North Gallery

Join us for drinks and nibbles in celebration of all Terpsichore Collective has achieved as we approach the culmination of our third season with our annual autumn concert. Artistic Director Aimee McDonald and musical collaborator Benjamin Miller will talk a little about their process working on bringing dance to Terry Riley's seminal minimalist work, In C. You'll also see the first performances of Terpsichore's new project, Small Dances for Small Spaces, which is a series of short dances that fit within the space of a hula hoop (actual hoop not required). While you're there, check out the current 22 North show Remnants, by artist Takeisha Jefferson. All proceeds from this event go toward dancer pay, production/theatre tech expenses, materials for costuming, etc. We are funded entirely by community donations and count on your continued support so that we can have professional dance in our area!
